Luis Simbaña

Luis is an Economics student of the Vancouver School of Economics at UBC. He has collaborated with the ESA family since its first year as a volunteer, and now is managing the club’s finances. His enthusiasm, commitment and position-related knowledge will add to the stupendous work ESA has been doing in the UBC community.

Rafaella Creus

Co-president

Rafaella is a fourth year Anthropology Major with a Minor in International Relations at the UBC Faculty of Arts. She is joining us this year to be part of ESA as V.P. Marketing. Her passion for Ecuadorian culture and her experience will bring new initiatives for our club to share with the UBC community. She is eager and excited to be part of this year's Executive Team!

Daniela Gallegos

Treasurer

Daniela is an Honours Political Science student of the Faculty of Arts at UBC. She was part of the ESA  family since its first year as a member and volunteer, then as its Vice President of Events, and now is taking the lead bringing her experience, charisma and love for the Ecuadorian community to the team.

Angelica Medina

Vice President External

Angelica is a fifth year student at the Sauder School of Business, specializing in International Business and Sustainability. She has been involved with ESA since the beginning and is now collaborating as VP External. Thanks to her previous work with several clubs and organizations on campus, she hopes to connect ESA with other groups at UBC and foster a sense of community.

María Paz Terán

Vice President Events

Maria Paz is a Political Science candidate. She is currently in her second year at UBC. Her previous experience in event organization will help the club create innovative and fun activities where we can reunite and enjoy the company of each other. She has always been passionate about Ecuador and all the memories you can create in it. She is excited about showing the UBC community about Ecuador and its traditions.

Pamela Chávez

Global Lounge Officer

Pamela is a third year Political Science student at UBC. She is a very passionate woman, who loves to talk about Ecuadorian culture and politics. She is the representative of ESA in the Global Lounge, and she is always ready to participate in intercultural events and share her knowledge with the students' community. She is really happy to promote our organization in the Global Lounge.
