**This event is a collaboration between UBC Mexican Student Association - MEXSA, UBC International Relations Students Association - IRSA & Ecuadorian Students Association at UBC - ESA**
The Global Lounge invites you to "Voices from Venezuela", an event dedicated to unravelling the current crisis - featuring voices and perspectives often over-looked in popular media.
This event will feature a number of esteemed panelists:
• Ms. Laura Aveledo a member of Action for Venezuela, Vancouver.
• Dr. Jon Beasley-Murray a UBC Professor who teaches in the French, Hispanic, and Italian Studies Department.
• Natalia Perez a PhD student in the Department of Geography at Simon Fraser University.
• Dr. Maxwell A. Cameron a UBC professor that specializes in comparative politics (Latin America), constitutionalism, democracy, and political economy.
